Everton Boss Gives Update On Blues Trio

Carlo Ancelotti is hopeful that injuries to Richarlison, Allan and Jonjoe Kenny are "not too bad" after all three were forced off during Everton's 4-1 Carabao Cup last-16 victory over West Ham United.

The Blues manager confirmed Kenny and Richarlison both twisted their ankles during the tie at Goodison, while Allan suffered an abductor problem.

Kenny came off before the break to be replaced by Seamus Coleman, and Richarlison was substituted for Alex Iwobi shortly after putting the hosts 2-1 ahead.

Fellow Brazil international Allan was the next to leave the field after pulling up following an attempt to block a cross.

Ancelotti confirmed all three players would be looked at by the Club's medical staff tomorrow morning - but the Italian was optimistic over their fitness.

"I don't think the injuries will be too bad," he said in his post-match interview. "Kenny and Richarlison have ankle twists and Allan had a slight abductor problem. We will see tomorrow but it seems not too bad."
