Everton will travel to Fleetwood Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday 23 September - a game that will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The Blues booked their place in round three as goals from Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Moise Kean earned them a 3-0 win over Salford City at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

The fixture at League One Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium will kick off at 7.45pm (BST).

Fleetwood, managed by former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton, overcame League Two Port Vale 2-1 to secure their progression to the last-32. 

The contest will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs.
