Talented forward Katia Kouyate has signed a first professional contract for Everton, penning a three-year deal until the end of June 2023.

The 17-year-old joined Everton’s Academy aged eight and has been rewarded for his impressive development throughout his time at the Club.

A fast, skilful and direct attacker, Kouyate is comfortable operating as a central striker or from either flank.

The Manchester-born teenager is eligible to represent England and Ivory Coast.

Kouyate is part of Paul Tait’s Everton Under-18s squad, who kick off their U18 Premier League (North) season against Blackburn Rovers at USM Finch Farm on Saturday (11am kick-off).
