Tuesday's Liverpool Echo continues to link Napoli midfielder Allan with a move to Everton.

The paper reports on claims in the Italian media that Napoli will listen to offers for the 29-year-old Brazil international.

Allan, who played under Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti during his time in charge at the Serie A side, has made 207 appearances and scored 10 goals for Napoli since joining from Udinese in 2015.

The Echo also highlights the fitness regime during lockdown that has helped teenage forward Anthony Gordon consistently impress since the resumption of top-flight football.

In an interview with the Everton Matchday Programme, Gordon revealed he moved into a house with four friends and committed to a demanding fitness schedule led by personal trainer Callum Webb.

The Echo carries quotes from Webb, who pays tribute to Gordon’s attitude and application.

"We got Ant doing some really good weight training," he says. "Lower body, upper body, full-weight workouts. He completely took to it and got stuck in.

“He was taking notes all the time and wanting to learn things. I looked at that and I thought, 'This kid has a really good head on him’. He's so mature for his age."

BBC Sport, meanwhile, reports Everton Women are “closing in” on the signing of Denmark international attacker Nicoline Sorensen from Brondby.

The 22-year-old was the top goalscorer in the Danish top-flight in 2019/20 and was named the league's player of the year.
