Forward Raso Agrees New Everton Deal

Hayley Raso has signed an extended contract with Everton, committing to the Blues until summer 2021.

The Australian forward joined Everton from Brisbane Roar in the winter transfer window but has been unable to make a first-team appearance for the Toffees owing to injury and the Women’s Super League’s curtailment due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Raso started her career at Canberra United and made her senior international debut aged 17.

The jet-heeled attacker has remained a regular in Australia squads and featured in every match for her country at the 2019 Women’s World Cup, helping the Matildas reach the last 16 of the competition.

The 25-year-old has also played club football in the USA, where she represented Portland Thorns.
