Seamus Coleman features in Monday’s edition of The Guardian, with the defender setting out Everton’s ambition to “be back competing for Champions League places” in the coming years.

The Irishman also underlined the importance of Monday night's clash at Tottenham Hotspur (8pm) as Everton strive to maintain their momentum after two consecutive Premier League wins.

“Tottenham are off the back of a difficult result but they’re a really good team with good players and a good manager,” Coleman said.

“It’s up to us now to go away to one of those teams and come back with three points, to show the mindset has changed and that we are really pushing in the right direction.”

The Daily Mirror carries quotes from Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has explained why players like Tom Davies and Anthony Gordon – who have come through the ranks at the Blues’ Academy – are key in his vision for the Club.

“Anthony and Tom have a sense of belonging at the Club and direct connection to our supporters," the Italian says. "We want every player to share these feelings.”

The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, reports Everton midfielder Dennis Adeniran is in line for a loan move next season.

The 21-year-old was a key part of the Toffees’ Under-23s team that won a Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup double in 2018/19.

The Echo also highlights claims in the Italian media that Everton “remain the most probable destination” for Napoli midfielder Allan.

The 29-year-old, who played under Ancelotti during his time in charge at the Serie A club, has been capped eight times by Brazil.
