The depth and quality of Everton’s online media output has been recognised with a nomination for a prestigious prize in the Football Content Awards 2020.
The awards celebrate the best in online football media and Everton has been nominated in the ‘Best Football Club, Premier League’ category.
Earlier this year, the Club also launched an official channel on TikTok, the world's leading destination for short-form mobile video.
Everton currently reaches almost seven million supporters around the world through its online platforms.
During the coronavirus lockdown, Everton has strived to continue producing engaging, entertaining content for supporters.
Everton’s wide-ranging output has included exclusive interviews, full game watchbacks, fun player features, fitness and football skills videos, and insightful podcasts with a host of star guests.
Indeed, this week’s Official Everton Podcast – which will be available from Thursday – features former Toffees striker and England legend Gary Lineker.
Everton also recently hosted its first virtual music event, Lockdown Sessions 2020, to raise money for Blue Family – the Club’s campaign to support isolated and vulnerable people during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Acts including The Wombats, Kieran Shudall of Circa Waves and DMA'S frontman Tommy O'Dell were among those to perform when the concert premiered across Everton's social media channels on 22 May.
Voting ends at midnight on Thursday 18 June.
