Here Yerry Mina talks tackling Messi, the importance of family and singing in the shower...

Favourite city?
Cali. It is close to my hometown in Colombia. If I have a holiday, I like to go there. It is a fantastic place. The people there have a lot of joy. This is good for me because that is how I am, too.

Best player you’ve faced?
It was in training when I was at Barcelona – Lionel Messi. This guy is incredible.

Which teammate makes you laugh the most?
It changes day to day! Sometimes it is Andre [Gomes], sometimes it is Richy [Richarlison], sometimes it can be Bernard! They are all very funny guys.

Favourite sportsperson?
LeBron James. I like basketball and I watch it on television. He is an amazing player.

Can you sing?
Yes, I think I am a good singer. Every day I enjoy singing in the shower! It is normally in Spanish, though!

Where does your love of dancing come from?
It is from my upbringing. In my hometown, all the people dance, including my brother, my friends... I dance at home, too. I love it!

Favourite food?
My girlfriend makes a beautiful dish. It is rice with chicken, mango and vegetables. I like this a lot.

Favourite TV programme?
I just like watching football! I watch it all the time when I am at home. And basketball!

Best moment of your career?
I have had a lot of great times but if I had to pick one specific moment it would be scoring for Colombia against England in the World Cup. I felt so good in this moment. I know it was special for my family, too.

Who knows you best?
My girlfriend and my family. My girlfriend and I are together all the time, and I am from a very close, loving family. In all the good moments and bad moments, they are always with me. That is important.
