A new study has listed Everton forward Moise Kean among the top 10 most valuable footballers born this century, according to the Daily Mail.

The CIES Football Observatory report takes into account a number of variables including age, contract duration, international status and career progression to determine a value for top young talents across the world game.

Kean, a summer 2019 arrival from Juventus, is 10th on the list, which is topped by Borussia Dortmund and England star Jadon Sancho and also includes Real Madrid pair Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi and Sancho's Dortmund teammate Erling Braut Håland.

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo takes a closer look at Everton's stadium plans for Bramley-Moore Dock and says a proposed fan plaza at the site "will completely alter the matchday experience for many who visit [the stadium] in the future."

The report also states Everton has "a strong desire to encourage as many supporters as possible to congregate in that area," which will include a stage for pre-match entertainment, canopies to offer shade and shelter, concession stands, food vendors, game tents and more.

Finally, Michael Ball uses his latest Echo column to detail his memories of playing under the late, great Howard Kendall during the early stages of his career and how the 1969/70 title winner would regularly dig out his boots to join in Friday five-a-sides at Bellefield.

"Maybe he didn't have the legs but you couldn't tackle him," Ball recalls.

"If you did tackle him you wouldn't play the next day!"
