Everton Boss Provides Team News Update

Carlo Ancelotti says Lucas Digne is fit and available for Everton's Premier League clash at Chelsea on Sunday (2pm) but fellow full-back Seamus Coleman will miss the Stamford Bridge fixture through injury.

France international Digne has been sidelined for Everton's past two Premier League matches with a muscle strain.

Club Captain Coleman has suffered a muscle issue and the injury will also keep him out of the Merseyside derby game against Liverpool on Monday 16 March.

Ancelotti added striker Cenk Tosun will have surgery next week after sustaining an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during training with loan club Crystal Palace.

“Seamus is not available after suffering a problem in the game against Manchester United,” said Ancelotti, who was speaking at his pre-match press conference at USM Finch Farm.

“He will be out at least for two games and then we will see.

“Cenk has come back from Crystal Palace and is going to have surgery next week. He will have our total support here and is going to recover here.

"He will have surgery and I hope everything will be okay and he can recover soon.

“Lucas Digne is fit and the others are in good condition.”
