Everton Midfielder Schneiderlin Has Surgery On Injured Knee

Morgan Schneiderlin will miss Everton’s clash with former club Manchester United on Sunday and is set for a period out of the team after injuring his knee at Arsenal last week.

French midfielder Schneiderlin sustained a torn meniscus and underwent surgery this week to repair the cartilage.

The 30-year-old has started 12 times in the Premier League this season and was withdrawn 14 minutes after half-time of Everton’s visit to Arsenal.

Schneiderlin will continue his rehabilitation under the care of Everton’s medical staff at the Club’s USM Finch Farm training base.
