Richarlison Reveals 'Special' Everton Bond And Big Ambitions Under Ancelotti

Everton's explosive Brazilian attacker Richarlison discusses his belief Carlo Ancelotti can help him become "world class", how his game has significantly progressed since moving to Everton and why his grounding will ensure he always remains humble...

Last weekend I scored my 12th goal of the season and I believe I am playing the best football of my career, so far.

I am living a special moment wearing the shirt of Everton.

I am trying to maintain this high rhythm and intensity and do my best in every game.

The goals are coming naturally and I hope this form continues for a long time.

I have improved my heading, I have scored goals from headers and, against Crystal Palace [30 minutes after his solo goal] I hit the bar when Dominic [Calvert-Lewin] scored from the rebound.

My vision has improved so I am always looking to play my teammates in on goal.

And my finishing has improved, I do extra work with Gylfi [Sigurdsson], Dominic and Bernard and we compete to be the best.

We are doing it every day and you can see the results in games.

RICHARLISON'S 10 PL GOALS IN 60 SECONDS

Watch Brazilian's Premier League strikes so far this season.

But the work does not stop, there are always so many things to improve.

I think all the players are very at ease and want to be playing and showing their quality on the pitch.

We are trying to help the manager. Carlo [Ancelotti] is a great guy. He is a really experienced coach and I am learning a lot from him.

He is going to teach me and guide me to become this world-class player by doing what he wants.

I talk to him a lot and have told him to trust me. I will be here… let’s see how far we can go.

He helps me. And I have said I am here to help him.

I want to learn from Carlo and have told him he can count on me. I can gain so much knowledge from him.

He has worked with a lot of Brazilian players and they all did very well under him. I want him to help me become a world-class player.

I believe we can do something special at Everton. Definitely. The foundations of a good team are the young players.

Of course, we might have to suffer and hurt in the learning process to get where we want.

That is part of maturing. But if we work hard and believe, we can do very well together.

As a team, we are very together and very strong. We are very happy – and long may it continue.

For me, I just want to play every game for Everton and every game for Brazil.

But I also want to continue being the same person, someone who likes to have a laugh and joke but is also modest and humble.

The people around me are the same as me: humble people who like a joke.

That is why I like to have them close. They never forget where we came from.

They would tell me if I was changing, definitely.

I want my career trajectory to continue in the same upwards direction – but to never change as a person.
