Andre Gomes made his return to action in a behind-closed-doors friendly at USM Finch Farm on Sunday.
The Everton midfielder played the full 60 minutes in an 11-a-side game made up of Blues first-team players and Under-23s, with no issues reported by the Club’s medical staff.
It was the first time Gomes has played competitive football since he sustained a fracture dislocation to his ankle against Spurs in November.
The Portugal international will now continue training with the first-team squad ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Arsenal.
