Digne On Blues' Feel-Good Factor, Ancelotti And 'Amazing' Evertonians

Lucas Digne provides an insight into the Blues’ goals for the remainder of the campaign, his admiration for Everton's 'amazing' fanbase and his confidence the Club is heading in a positive direction under Carlo Ancelotti...

We have just had our winter break which I think is very good for the players.

We will have more energy. We went into the break in good form, having won five and drawn two of our past eight Premier League games. We are in a good way and we have to continue like this. I think that everybody feels very good and we feel more confident.

We have a manager who has won a lot of trophies in his career and he has this mentality. He is a winner.

He can help us a lot because he has a lot of experience and he can give a lot of advice.

He is very cool and very calm. He is close to the players and he wants to speak with everybody, to have a closer relationship with everybody, and he is really important.

I think if a coach like him comes to Everton you can see the project is on the road. We have the plans for the new stadium in a few years, too.

We are building something here.

And for me, I have to continue to improve, and I will keep working hard to help the team.

We have the European Championships coming up in the summer but, for me, the most important thing is Everton.

If you play well with the Club, you have the chance to go to the Euros. Game after game, I have to play well.

When you represent Everton, you have the privilege of being backed by our amazing fans, too.

Goodison is amazing. It is our fortress and you feel stronger because everybody is behind you and you feel that support. It is totally crazy because everybody is close to the pitch and I think for an away team it is really hard at Goodison.

Our next game is away at Arsenal and I know our amazing fans will be there supporting us, too. It is such a big help for the team.

We will work hard and prepare well for that game as we aim to continue our good run. We are looking to move forward and go higher in the league. I’m confident we can do that.
