Thursday’s Liverpool Echo carries quotes from Everton forward Alex Iwobi, who has detailed why he believes he can flourish under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Iwobi made his first appearance since the Italian’s appointment in Everton’s dramatic 3-2 win at Watford on Saturday, having been sidelined with a hamstring injury since December.

“The way he [Ancelotti] plays, it suits me,” Iwobi said. “I can come inside [from the wing] and drift in so it does suit my playing style.

“I feel Carlo is able to bring the best out of me.”

The local read also highlights Everton’s impressive Premier League form under Ancelotti. The Toffees have taken 14 points from seven top-flight matches since he joined the Club and are just four points behind fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

And the Echo reports on speculation in the Italian media that Everton could be lining up transfer offers for two Napoli players.

Midfield duo Allan and Piotr Zielinski have both been linked with moves to Goodison Park.
