Carlo Ancelotti says Richarlison is "happy" at Everton and the Club has no intention of letting the Brazilian leave Goodison Park.
Richarlison, 22, was linked with a move to Spanish club Barcelona earlier this week but Ancelotti confirmed no official offer was received for the forward, who penned a new long-term deal with the Blues in December.
Asked about the speculation at his press conference on Friday, Ancelotti said: "I was surprised.
"Yesterday he was here, he was still here, he didn't go to Barcelona.
"There was a rumour. We didn't receive an official offer for him.
"The player is happy here, he signed a new contract just [two] months ago, he is a really important part of our squad, a really important player, we are happy with him and so rumour is rumour.
"Richarlison is really important for us and he stays with us."
Ancelotti was also asked about the futures of striker Oumar Niasse and defender Cuco Martina, with transfer windows across Europe set to close on Friday evening.
"[With] Niasse, we didn't receive until now official offers and so he's here with us and he trains with us," he said.
"If there are offers for him, we will have to consider [those] but until now no offers. Cuco Martina the same."
