Everton Under-23s midfielder Antony Evans has completed a permanent transfer to Bundesliga club SC Paderborn 07.

Evans, who joined Everton’s Academy aged nine, played 12 times on loan with Blackpool in League One last season.

The 21-year-old had a similar spell with League Two Morecambe in 2016/17. Evans has scored nine goals in 18 appearances for David Unsworth’s Everton Under-23s team this term.

Paderborn are currently 17th in Germany’s top division following their promotion from 2. Bundesliga last season.
