Kenny produced an impressive performance as his Schalke 04 side triumphed 2-0 against high-flying Borussia Mönchengladbach. Second-half goals from Suat Serdar and Michael Gergoritsch secured victory for Schalke, who remain fifth in the Bundesliga table.

Sergio Aguero’s second-half double looked to have completed a comeback for City but a late Fernandinho own goal earned Roy Hodgson’s team a point.
