Friday’s Daily Star features Carlo Ancelotti, with the Everton manager declaring his “dream” is to shape a Blues team that “can control the game and play fantastic football and win games with an attacking style”.

In an interview originally given to evertontv, he added: “I would like to have a style of play which attracts the supporters and feels comfortable for the players.”

Ancelotti also gave his reaction to the ‘Carlo Fantastico’ song Evertonians have created for him.

"The fact that they invented this song for me is new as well but it made me feel really happy,” he added.

"I have to learn this song, it's not difficult! I like to sing, but I'm used to singing when we win trophies. Hopefully I sing soon."

The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, speculates Everton could be interested in signing Le Mans attacker Stephane Diarra.

The 21-year-old Ivorian is also rumoured to be attracting the attention of Newcastle United.

The local read also reports on Australia international Hayley Raso becoming Everton Women’s latest recruit.

The 25-year-old’s signing was announced on Friday morning with a special message from compatriot Tim Cahill.
