Tuesday’s Daily Star links Everton with a move for St Etienne centre-back Wesley Fofana.

The 19-year-old Frenchman is also rumoured to have attracted the attention of AC Milan and RB Leipzig.

The paper reports St Etienne are keen to keep hold of the teenager, however, and could offer him a contract extension.

The Liverpool Echo speculates the Blues are weighing up an offer for Belgian international winger Yannick Carrasco.

The 26-year-old former Atletico Madrid player – who has won 41 caps for his country - is currently playing for Chinese club Dalian Yifang.

Dutch media outlet Football Oranje, meanwhile, claims Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar are interested in signing 19-year-old Everton defender Lewis Gibson. Gibson joined Everton in 2017 from Newcastle United.

Back to the Echo, and the paper reports on Everton Under-23s’ 1-1 Premier League 2 draw at Southampton on Monday night.
