Connolly Completes Fleetwood Loan Switch

Callum Connolly has completed a loan move to Fleetwood Town and will spend the rest of 2019/20 with the League One club after the 22-year-old's temporary stay with Lincoln City was ended early.

The versatile Connolly played 15 matches for Lincoln in all competitions, starting 12, and had loan spells in the Championship with Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers last season.

Everton Academy graduate Connolly made his one senior appearance for the Club in a Premier League match against Southampton in April 2016.

Capped four times by England at Under-21 level, Connolly joins a side sitting seventh in League One and could potentially make his Fleetwood debut at Burton Albion on Saturday.
