Achieve Your New Year Goals And Sign Up For Everton-themed 5K Run

Are you still searching for that New Year’s resolution? Why not do something special in 2020 by raising funds for an award-winning charity while keeping fit and staying active at the same time?

Everton in the Community is delighted to confirm the ‘If You Know Your History’ Fun Run will be taking place once again this year on Sunday 2 August, with funds raised from the event going towards The People’s Place, the charity’s £1m fundraising campaign to build and develop a purpose-built mental health facility close to Goodsion Park.

Following the success of the inaugural ‘If You Know Your History’ run in October 2019 when more than 450 fans laced up their trainers in support of The People’s Place, the 2020 event will be one of many opportunities on Everton in the Community’s calendar for supporters to raise money for the official charity of Everton Football Club.

Physical exercise can be a fantastic way of improving your mental and physical wellbeing and, with familiar faces such as Everton Director of Football Marcel Brands and Blues Giant Duncan Ferguson as previous participants, the run is set to be another popular event among supporters and the wider community.

The run – organised in partnership with BTR Liverpool – will again take participants through a 142-year-old journey of Everton’s history, starting from Prince Rupert’s Lock-up Tower and finishing at Stanley Park, overlooking the famous ‘Grand Old Lady’ – Goodison Park.

Commit to your 2020 New Year's resolution, achieve your goals and raise funds for Everton Football Club's award-winning official charity by signing up for the If You Know Your History Run by clicking here.

If you’re looking for a different challenge, however, but with the same goal – to raise money for Everton in the Community – the fundraising team have an array of events for fans to join.
