Everton is one of the most-followed Premier League clubs in the USA, known by their passionate US fanbase as ‘America’s Team’ and with a supporters’ club in the majority of states.

The Club has undertaken a range of engagement activity with US fans over the past year.

This month, hundreds of Evertonians were in attendance in Miami for the two-day Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest. Blues supporters from across the States attended the occasion at the famous Cleveland hotel on Miami’s South Beach, to watch as Everton gave an impressive performance against Manchester United in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

In March 2019 Leon Osman helped the Club launch @EvertoninUSA on Instagram and Twitter with content designed to bring US-based Everton fans closer to their Club. Tim Howard was announced as an official Everton US Ambassador in this autumn, and during his first weekend of ambassadorial duties in Austin, Texas, these channels saw a further boost with a 19% growth in followers and more than one million impressions.

Howard, the most recognisable US men’s soccer player of the past decade, made 414 appearances for Everton from 2006 to 2016, becoming one of their most-loved players before finishing his career with three years at MLS team Colorado Rapids. Howard is now an ambassador for Everton in the USA, regularly attending fan events across the US.

Howard said: “I made Everton my club, and the city of Liverpool my home for 10 years, and I loved every moment there. The city is one of the friendliest places on earth, and the experience of watching a game at Goodison Park is unlike any other. It is an amazing place to visit and I love going back there. Whether they’ve followed Everton for years, or are new to English Premier League soccer, the winners of this competition are in for a real treat.”

Follow Everton's US channels @EvertonInUSA  on Twitter and Instagram.

Entrants must be over 18.

The competition closes at 11.59pm GMT on January 31 2020.
