Evertonians can download the full score from the hit film Everton – Howard’s Way from today - Friday 13 December - and boost the Club's official charity, Everton in the Community (EitC) in the process.
The album Everton Forever: Howard's Way - Class of 85 has already soared to number eight in the iTunes pre-order chart. As well as the single Everton Forever, which features on the end credits of the film, the album also includes tracks such as Our Grand Old Lady, Reidy’s Knee and Memories of May.
A portion of the profits from downloads of the Everton Forever single and the album will go to EitC.
The Toffee Collective, the band behind the single, is also releasing the official music video for the single on Friday 13 December. The video - which features Blues caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson and the EitC Spirit Choir - marries archive Everton footage with examples of the life-saving and life-changing work of EitC.
The Club is supporting the single by playing it over the loudspeakers at home matches, and the EitC Spirit Choir will sing the song on the Fan Zone ahead of the Blues’ Carabao Cup quarter-final against Leicester City on Wednesday 18 December.
The Toffee Collective is made up of Keith Mullin (Musician, The Farm), Steve Parker (PWL) Simon Britton (record producer, songwriter and actor) Paul Mason, Mark Wainwright (Vile Assembly, internationally acclaimed punk rock band) and David Fehily (The Toffee Oracle).
