Everton caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson is hopeful Yerry Mina will be fit to face Chelsea at Goodison Park on Saturday but revealed the defender is a doubt for the clash.
Centre-back Mina was limping towards the end of Everton's defeat at Liverpool on Wednesday night but trained at USM Finch Farm on Friday.
The Colombia international, who has made 16 appearances for the Blues this season, will now be assessed ahead of Saturday's 12.30pm kick-off to see if he can play a part against the Londoners.
Seamus Coleman and Fabian Delph will definitely miss the game against Frank Lampard's men as they continue to nurse rib and hamstring injuries respectively.

Coleman's rib problem will force him out for a third straight match, while Delph last featured in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison in early November.
Everton are also without long-term absentees Andre Gomes (knee) and Jean-Philippe Gbamin (quadriceps).
Ferguson spoke to the media at USM Finch Farm on Friday afternoon and, asked if he had any positive news about injured players returning to action, the Scot said: "[On] Seamus no, Delph no, long-term injuries no.
"Mina is being assessed, he's a doubt but he's done a wee bit of training this morning so we're confident."
