Everton Freezes Season Ticket Prices For Fifth Consecutive Season

Everton has revealed a price freeze on all Season Tickets for the 2020/21 season - marking the fifth consecutive year prices for ALL Season Tickets have remained unchanged.

It further underlines the Club’s ongoing commitment to its fans and means that, for the 2020/21 campaign, Season Tickets are £95 for ALL Under-11s, £149 for ALL fans aged 11 to 18 and £299 for ALL fans aged 18 to 21 or 65 and over. For young adults aged 22 to 24, prices are just £380 - and from £420 for all other adults.

These prices equate to just £5 per game for Under 11s, less than £8 per game for 11 to 18-year-olds and less than £16 per game for 18 to 21-year-olds and fans 65 or over. In the adult categories, prices are just £20 per game for 22 to 24-year-olds and from less than £23 for all other adults.

Everton CEO, Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale, said: “We are always keen to ensure that we make watching football at Goodison as affordable as possible, particularly for our younger supporters.

"We hope our decision to freeze prices again will continue to encourage young fans into our stadium, as it has over recent years when we have seen significant growth and retention of supporters in all youth categories.

"We are incredibly grateful to all of our Season Ticket Members for their ongoing commitment and we hope that our pricing decisions clearly demonstrate that we never take our fans’ tremendous support for granted.”

The Club’s highly-competitive pricing structure has helped to attract a younger demographic of Evertonians to Goodison. More than one in six (17%) of Everton Season Ticket Members are under the age of 18 - in comparison to the league average of one in eight. Add to that just under 3,000 Season Ticket Members aged 18 to 24 for 2019/20 and it demonstrates the impact of the Club’s pricing policy for younger fans.

Ian Ball, the chairperson of The Everton Fans’ Forum, said: “Having so many young fans in Goodison for every match is a great testament to the work the Club has done in its approach to pricing. Football at Goodison remains affordable for so many families and it means a Premier League matchday at our ground is so different from so many other stadiums we visit up and down the league. The Fans’ Forum has always worked closely with the Club on this topic and knowing the Club is aligned with fans on such a key issue means a lot.”

Existing Season Ticket Members will be contacted in due course with renewal details and options for the 2020/21 season. The 2020/21 prices for Seasonal Hospitality Lounge Memberships will be announced in due course.
