Everton have been drawn away to Liverpool in the FA Cup third round.

The Blues were paired with their Merseyside rivals in Monday night's draw and will make the short trip across Stanley Park to Anfield next month.

Everton, who face Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday, were ball number 16 and were selected by former Arsenal and England defender Tony Adams.

The tie will be played between 3-6 January. The date, kick-off time and tickets for the fixture will be announced on evertonfc.com in due course.
