Everton manager Willie Kirk has been nominated for November’s WSL Manager of the Month award.
Kirk led his side to two league victories from two during the month, including a historic triumph over Liverpool at Anfield in the first-ever Merseyside derby to be held at the stadium.
The Blues followed up their 1-0 win against their city rivals with what Kirk described as “our best performance since I have been Everton manager” as they swept aside Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 at Southport FC.
Everton’s fine form has seen them rise to fourth in WSL table, with the Toffees having won five of their opening seven matches.
