Fans' Forum Welcoming Applicants For 2020

Do you feel you have something to offer as part of the Club’s official Fans’ Forum?

Applications for the 2020 intake of new members for the Fans' Forum are now open - and it could be your chance to represent supporters and take part in key Club projects.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 5 January 2020.

The Forum convenes as a full group on a monthly basis, acting as a touch-point between the Club and the wider fanbase to deliver feedback and ideas.

In the past year, the Fans' Forum has been directly involved in a number of Club projects. The Forum has provided input into Everton’s cup ticket and Season Ticket pricing strategy and created project groups to work with Club retail partners Fanatics and catering partners Sodexo to improve service given to Evertonians.

The group also played a key role in the Holy Trinity Statue project, with the statue unveiled outside Goodison Park in May 2019. Furthermore, the Fans’ Forum supported the Club in delivering a fan event to launch The People’s Project second stage public consultation.

Each Forum member serves a three-year term and this year there are four vacancies.

Jazz Bal joined the Fans’ Forum earlier this year and detailed how joining the group has given him an opportunity provide input in several important areas.

“I was very pleased to get on to the Fans’ Forum,” he said. “I felt that I had a lot of ideas to bring to the party, which I mentioned during the interview stage; mainly to do with the untapped military fan base.

“In my year on the Fans’ Forum I am extremely proud to have instigated an Armed Forces Day event, assisted in the setting up of the Clubs first affiliated military Supporters’ Club who supported in the planning and activating of the Remembrance fixture at Goodison Park.

“I have also taken the lead on setting up a project group with Forum members and Club catering partner Sodexo, who we now meet with on a regular basis to seek new ways to improve the service given to Evertonians on a matchday.

“I truly feel that I have added value during my first year on the forum and hope that I can continue to do so for the remainder of my term. I would encourage any Evertonian to apply and be as detailed as possible about your skills and experience during the application process.”

The Forum is committed to equal opportunities and being fully representative of the Everton fanbase. The Forum intends to provide a fully inclusive recruitment process and accepts all applications in a variety of formats.
