Wednesday’s Daily Mail and Liverpool Echo report on Moise Kean’s impressive goalscoring performance for Italy Under-21s against Armenia on Tuesday night.

The Everton striker hit a first-half double as Italy secured a thumping 6-0 victory in Catania and, speaking after the game, manager Paulo Nicolato praised the “spirit” Kean showed during the game.

Kean, meanwhile, spoke of his desire to fight his way into the senior Italy squad.

“Obviously, I hope to get there, that's everyone's dream,” he said.

The Echo also carries quotes from in-form Everton midfielder Tom Davies, who has detailed why he believes he is more ready than ever to deal with the demands of Premier League football.

“I have always done extra in the gym and I am a vegetarian now,” said Davies, in an interview initially given to evertontv.

"I feel strong and also that I am growing into the physicality of the Premier League. I am happy with everything and how things are going for me.”

The local read also speculates Everton could be lining up a move for Hoffenheim midfielder Dennis Geiger.

The 21-year-old German is also rumoured to be attracting the attention of Manchester City.
