WATCH: Kaagman On Women's World Cup Final And Idol Iniesta

Dutch international features in latest episode of My Journey series.

Everton playmaker Inessa Kaagman marked her maiden game against Liverpool with a spectacular long-range goal as the Blues’ triumphed 2-1 in a pulsating clash last December.

Ahead of Sunday’s historic game – which will be the first women’s Merseyside derby to be hosted at Anfield – Kaagman reveals how her football-obsessed family inspired her love of the game.

In the latest episode in our My Journey series with the Everton Women players, Kaagman explains how her mother and father were both talented players and why she models her game on that of legendary Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta.

Kaagman also discusses how she mixed studying for a diploma in medicine with playing for Dutch giants Ajax – and the small matter of being part of the Netherlands squad that featured in the 2019 Women’s World Cup final…
