David Unsworth has told Tuesday's Liverpool Echo he would understand if defensive duo Morgan Feeney and Lewis Gibson are allowed to leave Everton on loan in January in order to gain further first-team experience.

Both players have been in impressive form for the young Blues and Unsworth says any manager who sought his opinion on the pair would "only hear good things".

Former Everton captain Alan Stubbs has told the Ladbrokes Social Club that the Blues should look at Rangers' Colombia international Alfredo Morelos if they are seeking to add a forward to their ranks in January.

The 23-year-old has netted 22 goals in 26 appearances so far this season.

Finally, the Echo reports on the St George's Hall event that reunited the 1985 league and European Cup Winners' Cup winning squad on Monday night.

The players from Howard Kendall's triumphant side were celebrating the launch of Howard's Way, a documentary by Evertonian Rob Sloman that charts the Club's historic 1984/85 campaign.
