Andre Gomes has sent a thank you video message to fans after undergoing a successful operation to repair a fracture dislocation to his right ankle.

The Everton midfielder - who suffered the injury during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Spurs at Goodison - was discharged from hospital yesterday and, after making a visit to see his teammates and colleagues at USM Finch Farm, is now back at home recuperating before he continues his rehabilitation with Club medical staff.
