Everton Paired With Leicester In Last-Eight

Everton have been handed a home Carabao Cup quarter-final tie with Leicester City, as Marco Silva bids to lead the Blues into the competition’s last four for the first time since 2016.

Silva’s side beat Watford at home 2-0 on Tuesday to reach this stage and following Thursday morning's draw will be back at Goodison Park for the next round, which is scheduled for the week commencing 16 December.

Everton, who overcame Lincoln City and Sheffield Wednesday in rounds two and three respectively, will be meeting Leicester in the League Cup for the first time.

The Foxes, three-times winners of this competition, will be playing their fourth successive tie away from home, after navigating trips to Newcastle United, Luton Town and Burton Albion to progress to the last eight.

Ticket details for the match will be announced on evertonfc.com in due course.
