Everton Women twice came from behind against Reading but were eventually edged out 3-2 in a pulsating WSL clash at Adams Park on Sunday.

Chloe Kelly – recently named September’s WSL Player of the Month – hit her third goal of the season while Lucy Graham netted from the penalty spot.

A 70th-minute header from Reading substitute Lisa-Marie Utland secured maximum points for the home team, however. Everton are now fifth in the WSL table, having secured six points from their opening four matches.
