Thursday’s Daily Mail claims Everton have “joined Arsenal” in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven and Holland forward Donyell Malen.

Malen, 20, was previously on the books at Arsenal but left the Emirates to join PSV in 2017 when Marcel Brands was Director of Football at the club.

Two-cap Dutchman Malen has reportedly drawn interest after hitting 11 goals in his first 14 games this season, including five in PSV’s 5-0 victory over Vitesse Arnhem earlier this month.

Lucas Digne outlines why Marco Silva is one of the best coaches he’s worked under in the Liverpool Echo.

The Frenchman explains how the Portuguese has given him “a lot of confidence” since his move from Barcelona and pays tribute to his manager’s meticulous approach and communication skills.

The same paper also suggests midfielder Andre Gomes is likely to miss Saturday’s visit of champions Manchester City due to his ongoing rib problem.

Finally, Sport Witness quote Brazilian journalist Mauro Cézar Pereira, who claims Everton are yet to make an offer for rumoured target, Flamengo and Brazil Under-17 star Reinier.
