Everton’s matchday programme for Saturday’s contest with Sheffield United is typically brimful with exclusive interviews.

Digne’s happy-go-lucky nature disguises a steely soul and the 26-year-old – Everton’s runaway supporters’ player of the season last term – outlines his desire to become one of the game’s premier left-backs.

The former Barcelona player tackles an array of subjects, his bond with Evertonians and the reasons why Silva counts as one of his best managers, among them.

Thomas spent two years with Everton after joining from QPR in 1977. An archetypal dribbling winger, he played “the best football of my career” at Goodison Park following a spell in west London which brought him within a whisker of a title winners' medal.

Thomas, 68, was diagnosed with glaucoma shortly after turning 50 but his life was transformed by guide dog, Hannah, who has been by the former England international's side for two-and-a-half years.

He talks Everton’s matchday programme through an undulating life, beginning with the tale of his grandad – a 'World Cup winner' – threatening to abandon the pair’s park kickabouts if the three-year-old Thomas refused to use his left foot.

We joined centre-back Keane on England duty earlier this month. In a comprehensive interview, the 26-year-old outlines his development under Silva and explains how he is raising his individual ambitions accordingly.

Silva writes about his side’s ongoing winning Goodison sequence – currently standing at six matches – and the urgent need for Everton to rediscover the solidity which marked their football until the past few matches.

Phil Jagielka is back to Goodison this weekend after rejoining Sheffield United in the summer following 12 years at Everton.

Blues captain during the second half of his time with the Club and veteran of 385 Everton appearances, Jagielka talks in another exclusive interview about the emotions around his quick return.

Everton Under-23 goalkeeper Harry Tyrer and manager David Unsworth revisit a fine couple of weeks for their team, manager Unsworth’s side beating Blackburn Rovers 2-1 on Monday, a fortnight after toppling Southampton 8-2.

Under-18 boss Paul Tait outlines why he viewed his side’s 10-0 drubbing of Sunderland last week as the perfect platform for crunch clashes with Manchester United and Liverpool.

Willie Kirk talks about his Everton Women side’s 100 per cent winning start to the campaign, their latest victory over manager Kirk’s former Bristol City side secured courtesy of two fabulous Chloe Kelly strikes.
