Matchday Guide: Sheffield United

Everton welcome Sheffield United to Goodison Park on Saturday as the Toffees look secure a seventh successive home victory.

But what’s going on in the build up to kick off and throughout the afternoon?

Here’s our Matchday Guide for anyone heading to the Grand Old Lady this weekend…

FANZONE

When is it open?
Midday - KO.

Who is the star guest?
Former Toffees ace Ronny Goodlass will be interviewed on stage and will provide reaction to team news from 2pm.

Who is performing?
Merseyside musician Liam Royden, from band Trio Lark, will perform a solo set.

What are the giveaways?
Win a pair of stadium tour tickets in our picture quiz, 'Higher or Lower' game and ‘Blue v Blue’ quiz.

Anything else?
The food bank will be set up next to the FanZone so please bring donations ahead of the game. There will also be interviews with BTR Liverpool's Alan Rothwell and Ken Rogers from the Everton Heritage Society, who will discuss the upcoming Everton-themed 5k run for Everton in the Community. The  'If You Know Your History' run will visit a host of Everton landmarks across Liverpool and takes place on 13 October.

THE MATCHDAY HUB

When is it open?
11am - 2.30pm.

What is happening?
A games area, face painting, EITC coaching sessions, newspapers and team sheets.

What can I eat?
There is a children’s meal deal offer of chicken nuggets or giant sausage roll with fries and soft drink for £5. The adult meal deal offer is steak and ale pie, chips, peas and gravy, which costs £6.

When are the EITC coaching sessions?
5-7 y/o @ 12pm
8-10 y/o @ 12.30pm
11+ @ 1pm

THE COMMUNITY HUB

When is it open?
11am - 2.30pm

What is on offer?
Outdoor furniture, TV screens, pre-packed sandwiches, tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

ST LUKE’S CHURCH

When is it open?
12.15pm - KO.

What is on offer?

The EFC Heritage Society is based upstairs at St Luke's Church Hall before every home game. Supporters can enjoy photographic displays relating to the history of our great club and also purchase Everton programmes, books, memorabilia and autographed items from players past and present. Toffee Art have a great range of artwork, prints, t-shirts and coasters on sale, while The Ruleteros will also be offering souvenirs of the Everton club in Chile. Refreshments will be served as part of the Teas For Fans initiative from 11.15am, while the memorial garden will be open throughout.

THE BLUE BASE

When is it open?
Straight after the full-time whistle.

What is on offer?
The perfect venue for your post-match debrief, The Blue Base is open to all, including children, and offers bar snacks, hot drinks, live sports on TV and a fully licensed bar. All profits generated from The Blue Base go back into Everton in the Community.
