Everton goalkeeper Jonas Lössl has told Danish sports magazine Tipsbladet he is working hard with the aim of forcing his way into Marco Silva's team.

Denmark international Lossl joined Everton in the summer following two years with Huddersfield Town.

"Everton is one of the Premier League's best clubs and so I go... with an open mind and take up the competition," said Lossl, who is vying with Jordan Pickford and Maarten Stekelenburg for the Goodison Park keeper's jersey.

Cenk Tosun scored twice in Turkey's 4-0 European Championship qualifying victory over Moldova on Tuesday and publication Aksam in his homeland reckons the Everton striker is interesting Istanbul Basaksehir.

Former Fulham and West Ham United striker Leroy Rosenior's views on Alex Iwobi are featured in a selection of publications.

"He's got to prove himself at his new club – Everton is big – and I feel it's a nice move for him," Rosenior told Premier League Productions.

The Liverpool Echo picks up on Gylfi Sigurdsson's comments about Everton's attackers "clicking" after Marco Silva's side hit seven goals in the two games immediately before the international break.

Fabian Delph won rave reviews for his performances in those games and former England right-back Danny Mills has added his voice to those praising the Everton midfielder.

"Fabian Delph has come in and done very, very well and he will be very, very good [for Everton]," said Mills.

"He brings that mentality, that edge, that discipline and that know-how, [knowledge of] how to win."

Tom Davies is the subject of a comment piece in iNews after the Everton man impressed twice for England Under-21s in the past week.

And Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has spoken extensively to Record in Portugal where he is on loan with Sporting Lisbon.

The former Crystal Palace player tells the paper he is motivated by the prospect of landing a permanent move to Sporting when his season-long deal expires.
