Jonjoe Kenny has been nominated for the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Month award for August.

The Everton right-back, who is on a season-long loan at Schalke 04, has been recognised after an impressive start to the campaign.

The 22-year-old Everton Academy graduate has played every minute of Schalke’s opening three Bundesliga matches and netted his first senior goal as his team beat Hertha Berlin 3-0 on 31 August.
