Lucas Digne’s spectacular free-kick in Everton’s Carabao Cup victory over Lincoln City has been voted as the Blues’ Goal of the Month winner for August.

The Frenchman – whose five goals for Everton have all came from outside the box – showcased his immaculate technique to curl a free-kick into the top corner from the best part of 30 yards in the Toffees' 4-2 win at Sincil Bank.

Digne’s strike was the overwhelming winner of our poll. Of the 2,199 votes cast, 87 per cent were for his stunning long-range effort.

Bernard’s expertly-taken goal in Everton’s 1-0 success against Watford at Goodison Park got five per cent of the votes, while Alex Iwobi and Richarlison’s headers against Lincoln each polled four per cent.
