Iwobi Starts As Everton Make Three Changes

Alex Iwobi is rewarded for his midweek goalscoring contribution at Lincoln City with a Goodison Park debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

There are first Premier League starts for Moise Kean and Fabian Delph, too, as Marco Silva makes three changes from Everton’s game at Aston Villa nine days ago.

Attacker Iwobi, who pounced for Everton’s third goal in Wednesday’s 4-2 win over Lincoln, is set to play on the left flank.

Richarlison, another who netted at Lincoln, starts on the right, with Gylfi Sigurdsson operating through the middle.

Icelander Sigurdsson is stationed directly behind frontman Kean, who has come off the bench in each of the Blues’ first three league games this term.

England international Delph plays next to Andre Gomes in the centre of midfield.

Seamus Coleman sat out Everton’s Lincoln cup tie but is back to captain the side from right-back. Lucas Digne, fresh from despatching his howitzer of a free-kick against the League One side, starts on the left of defence.

Yerry Mina and Michael Keane continue their central defensive partnership. And Jordan Pickford is Everton’s goalkeeper for the 80th Premier League match on the bounce.

Attacking trio Bernard, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun are all included among Everton’s substitutes.

They are joined on the bench by defensive pair Mason Holgate and Djibril Sidibe, midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
