Mirallas Completes Permanent Move To Royal Antwerp

Kevin Mirallas has completed a free transfer move to Royal Antwerp on a one-year contract following seven seasons at Goodison Park.

Belgian Mirallas returns to his homeland after making 186 appearances and scoring 38 goals for Everton.

The attacker, who played 30 matches on loan in Italy with Fiorentina last season, joined Everton in summer 2012 from Greek side Olympiakos – where he had a temporary spell in 2017/18.

He was previously with French clubs Lille and Saint-Etienne after graduating through the youth system with Standard Liege in Belgium.

Mirallas, 31, had arguably his finest Goodison campaign in 2013/14 when he was directly involved in 17 goals – scoring eight – to help Everton secure a top-five Premier League finish.

Capped 60 times by his country, Mirallas joins an Antwerp side which has won three of its opening four games to sit fifth in the Belgian top-flight.
