Connolly Moves To Lincoln On Loan

Callum Connolly has completed a season-long loan move to Lincoln City.

The versatile England Under-21 international, who is comfortable playing in any position across the backline or in central midfield, enjoyed loan stints at Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers last season. Connolly made a total of 35 appearances across his time with both clubs.

Everton met Lincoln in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and booked a place in round three with a 4-2 win at Sincil Bank.

Academy graduate Connolly, 21, will now link up with Danny Cowley's side, who earned promotion as League Two champions last term and currently sit seventh in the table after a solid start to life in the third tier.
