Schneiderlin Back In Only Everton Change

Morgan Schneiderlin returns to Everton’s midfield for Friday night’s Premier League encounter with Aston Villa.

Former Barcelona player Andre Gomes lines up in the centre of the park next to Schneiderlin, who is back after serving a one-match ban in the meeting with Watford last week. Jean-Philippe Gbamin, who completed 90 minutes at Goodison Park six days ago, misses out with a muscle injury.

Captain Seamus Coleman makes his 250th Premier League appearance for the Club at right-back, while on the left of defence Lucas Digne is fit to start after being forced off early against Watford.

Michael Keane and Yerry Mina continue their centre-half partnership. In goal, Jordan Pickford plays his 79th straight Premier League match for the Club – the England keeper ever present since his transfer from Sunderland in summer 2017.

Last week’s matchwinner Bernard occupies his familiar slot on the left flank, with Richarlison on the right – the Brazilian duo operating either side of Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Everton’s attack, the 22-year-old starting his 12th Premier League game in 13.

Summer recruits Moise Kean, Djibril Sidibe and Alex Iwobi are all included among the Blues' substitutes.

They are joined on the bench by Mason Holgate, Theo Walcott, Tom Davies and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
