Everton playmaker Sigurdsson, who joined the Blues from Swansea City in 2017, says he has been wowed by the stadium designs.
The Icelandic ace revealed his excitement about the prospect of lining up at Bramley-Moore Dock as an Everton player.
"The stadium plans look fantastic,” he said.
“I think it will be a special place to play football, and an amazing arena for the fans to come and support the team.
“I hope I get to play in it. I do not want to retire in the next couple of years!
“It would be nice to stay at the Club and be one of those players who plays in the first games in the new stadium.”
