Everton defender Matthew Pennington has joined Championship club Hull City on loan for the 2019/20 season.

The Academy graduate - who has made nine first-team appearances for the Blues - spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Ipswich Town. He played 31 matches for the Portman Road side and scored one goal.

Pennington will link up with fellow Everton player Josh Bowler, who joined Hull on loan last month.
