Fixture dates for Everton’s Leasing.com Trophy group stage matches have been announced.

The tournament - which has been known as the Checkatrade Trophy for the past three seasons - features all 48 League One and League Two teams, as well as 16 Under-21 sides representing category one academies.

David Unsworth’s young Blues have been drawn in Group E of the competition alongside Mansfield Town, Burton Albion and Crewe Alexandra.

Everton will take on Mansfield at the League Two team’s Field Mill ground on Tuesday 27 August (7.45pm), with the Toffees’ clash at Burton Albion taking place at the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday 1 October (7.45pm).

The young Blues will conclude their group stage campaign against Crewe at Gresty Road on Wednesday 6 November (7.30pm).
