Everton CEO On 'Crucial Period' For New Stadium Project

Everton CEO Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale has described the current second-stage consultation into the Club’s proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and Goodison legacy as "a crucial period for the project".

Professor Barrett-Baxendale urged residents to attend an event at the People’s Project roadshow, which is taking place across the Liverpool city region until Sunday 25 August.

“This is a crucial part of the project,” Professor Barrett-Baxendale told evertontv.

“The consultation is key. We want to use this period to listen to our fans and the residents of Liverpool, take their feedback on board and then prepare for our planning submission at the end of the year.

“It’s so important we speak to as many people as possible.

“Whether you support Everton, Liverpool or have no football allegiance, this is a scheme for the city that will provide jobs as well as economic and social value.

“It is something we can all get behind.”
