WATCH: Osman And Pienaar Battle It Out As Player-Managers

As part of the Club’s historic trip to Kenya this summer, Everton in the Community coaches spent five days delivering wellbeing programmes to children and adults in one of Nairobi’s most deprived districts.

The coaches offered activities tailored to meet the social and psychological needs of those living in Kariobangi, helping to equip youngsters and their families with important skills and health messages for the future.

To find out more about the good work being done in the Kenyan capital, we sent Steven Pienaar and Leon Osman along to join in a session and put their ball skills, tactical nous and dance moves to the test in a fun, best-of-three team challenge!

To discover whether it was Team Osman or Team Pienaar that ended up victorious, watch the video above*.

In total, Everton in the Community coaches engaged with 650 young people and 150 adults during the Club's time in Nairobi. They also put on a training session for the Kenyan Under-15 national squad and visited local schools for orphans, primary schools and community centres for the elderly.
